I recently took engagement photos of a couple whose wedding I will be photographing in January. We met at Seattle’s Discovery Park for the shoot. For several days leading up to that day, the weather had been typical Seattle fall weather, drizzly and gray. But they never canceled, and I thought to myself “The show must go on!” And, wouldn’t you know it, a couple of hours before our session, the clouds parted and sun appeared! About halfway through, the sun went back behind the clouds, which ended up also being nice, as it added a lovely filtered light on the couple, and no one was squinting.
